Residency at Saint Joseph's Shankill, a centre dedicated to dementia care in Dublin, IRL.

The development of a multi-sensory space for drinking tea within the care centre, designed in collaboration with its residents.

Each element was made collectively, in order to create a space which celebrates imperfection and handmade things, a warm and uniquely personalized space in which to talk and exchange moments together.

John-is-this-your-cup-of-tea? was developed through a series of workshops led by Fairland Collective, including tea towel printing, natural fabric dying, and tea cup making.The workshops were responsive to peoples’ interests, but all produced material toward the development of a unique tea house – which became an eclectic portrait of the people living in the care home.
