IMMA, Dublin - February to August 2016, at the invitation of Grizedale Arts

IMMA commissioned Grizedale Arts to re-imagine their residency programme and create their principle exhibition for the year – a model village complete with growing field, barn, economy, education and restaurant. Fairland Collective worked with Grizedale Arts throughout the residency period, hosting contributors to the project in IMMA's residency house. Here they developed and tested recipes for an entirely courgette based restaurant on their unsuspecting guests and collaborated on the development of a set of 'useful, desirable and achievable' products. These would be made or bought by guests during three week long exhibition in the summer, where FLC served a daily lunch of courgette-many-ways, as well as hosting a food school for kids and grown-ups.
